Photo of Christopher CurtisD Christopher F Curtis, 63, is a co founder and Principal at Europa Capital and is responsible for acquisitions by the Europa Funds in Southern Europe and for the asset management of the investments acquired.

In 1968 he joined Richard Ellis in London and then, in 1971, moved to Mackenzie Hill, an international development and investment company where, as Managing Director of its Far East subsidiaries, he worked in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. In 1975 he became Managing Director of MHB Proyectos SA in Venezuela.

In 1981 he moved to France permanently as Managing Director of Ariel International BV which owned projects and investments in France, Holland, Germany and Monaco. In 1985 he became a European Investment partner with London & Edinburgh Trust plc with responsibility for France and Spain and, after this company was sold in 1990, he became the French operating partner for Pacific Investments.

In 1996 he became Investment Director for a French Real Estate Opportunity Fund which invested circa €1.1 billion into the Parisian real estate market and has since entirely and successfully divested this portfolio.

Christopher graduated from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, and is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

He volunteers as an external examiner for The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in France and is a senior committee member of The Travellers Club in Paris.
