Erik J Ruane
Erik J Ruane, 45, has been responsible for all property development activities undertaken by the Europa Funds since 2001.
In 1984 he commenced his career with Weatherall Green & Smith (now ATIS Real) in London, where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.
In 1987 he joined City Merchant Developers plc, a London listed company, which focussed upon the development of Central London office buildings. In 1988, this company merged to form Imry Merchant Developers PLC. From 1990 to 1993 he worked with a private property company concentrating upon both UK and continental European markets.
In 1994 he joined Development Securities PLC, a London listed property company where, as a Development Director, he was responsible for the acquisition, funding, development and leasing of several large office and retail projects, particularly in Central London.
Erik attended Gonville & Caius College Cambridge (1979-1982) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
